Traits in Anime Galaxies are not a second gacha. You spend Trait Crystals on one unit. At each milestone you pick a trait of that rarity. The unit keeps one trait. The next pick replaces the current one, and the screen names the trait you are replacing.
Milestones that agree
| Crystals on that unit | Choice |
|---|---|
| 10 | A Rare trait |
| 30 | An Epic trait |
| 100 | A Legendary trait |
The Mythic number
Guides that show a milestone table use 400 Trait Crystals for Mythic. Other launch notes use 500. A writeup that also prints the 400 table says the Mythic screen has displayed the words "reached 500 Trait Crystals." Both numbers are in circulation. The unit panel is the one that charges you. The crystal planner defaults to 400 and can be set to 500, 100, 30, or 10.
Crystals are per unit. Four hundred or five hundred on a filler Rare is the expensive mistake. Nightmare is reported to pay up to 10 trait rewards a clear. Challenges and the 30-minute cup shuffle are the other repeatable sources. RELEASE reports 50 Trait Crystals and 1KCCU reports 100, once each, if they still redeem.
Cards that disagree
Use the trait pages for the exact conflict. Short version:
- Galactic is the stable Mythic card: +250 percent damage, -10 percent cooldowns, +10 percent range, only one placement.
- Chosen is either +300 percent damage, +20 percent range, and only one placement, or +30 percent damage, -15 percent cooldown, +20 percent range, and no placement cap. Those are different items. Read your card.
- Bounty Hunter is either a farm-income and discount trait for Spedwag, or a Mythic combat card at +25 percent damage and +1.5 percent per defeat up to 175 percent. Take it for Spedwag only when the card talks about money or cost.
- Wraith's transcribed card is +20 percent damage and +1.5 percent per defeat up to 175 percent. A Wrath writeup instead says +20 percent base and +50 percent against bosses. Match the name on the card.
- Hyper Speed is the stable Legendary: -22.5 percent cooldown, about 29 percent more attacks while the unit is attacking. It does not shorten a Domain or other fixed timer.
- Enraged is the default damage pick at Rare and Epic because it also scales abilities that use the damage stat. Dedicated is the basic-attack alternative. Sniper and Marksman are range. Disaster does nothing until the target is under 40 percent HP. Perceptive is XP only.
Swift is listed as a Legendary name with no effect published.
A practical order
- Put the first crystals on Spedwag and on the one carry you are actually fielding.
- At Rare and Epic, Enraged unless the kit counts basic attacks or the problem is range.
- At Legendary, Hyper Speed for Stork and Goju, Marksman if Foji or Megomu cannot reach, Bounty Hunter on Spedwag if that card is the farm version.
- At Mythic, Galactic on one carry if the card matches. Do not copy Galactic onto every unit.
